LOST.

V. 1:
I could have had the world on its knees.
I could have chanced to try to please.
I could have shared the ice and fire
    to realize my real desire.

  But I couldn’t understand 
  the one who needs no words
  (But I couldn’t understand )
  to prove – he’s loved!

Lost! What a pretty pain!
Lost! I can’t  break the chain!
Lost! (I) could have said a word!
Lost! (I) got no one to be heard!

Lost! (to) try to start again!
Lost! the song with no refrain!
Lost! to fool my love around!
Lost! to never be found!

V. 2:
I’m out of use – there’s no excuse.
(I) got twice a river where I lost my shoes.
I got a space with no point to start
I see no deal to carry out.

  But I couldn’t understand
