Civilized Animal - Part Of Life

It's no mystery to me you know i think too much
Sometimes these visions od reality keep me way out of touch
You know my mind is set on overdrive it gets a little spooky sometimes
Still i must confess sometimes i get stressed
With all the little things in life that make your mind a mess
But i gon' keep it in time
My reason my rhyme
No matter how intense it might seem at the time

It's just a part of this thing called life

I put way too much energy in the past
And at the time i didn't know just how long it could last
But i keep dwellin' on the pain
How mundane
It seems you never realize until your heart is drained
I'm always quick to complain about the things i can't change
I think i've said it before
I'm just a little deranged
But i keep tryin' harder every single day
