I take the steps down to the metro

I read the newspaper this morning,
It says that stock prices have gained

Cause the company announced
That they're firing a hundred people

We just pay the lowest prices
For everything we need
And while we save a little money
The traders earn more than those
Who produced

So the rich get richer
While the poor just disappear
